Very modern villa, great location, exceeded all expectations!
🙂 The property featured everything that you needed and more. The kitchen was the most stocked kitchen that I’ve ever experienced at a villa. There is the pool, ping pong table and various seating areas all on different levels, creating great view points throughout & nice breakout areas for groups staying. We had BBQ nights in which were perfect, there’s a huge outdoor table which can accommodate a large group easily.
The hosts were extremely polite and accommodating, we received videos of the road to the video, any other useful instructions with images and a link to a information app, that covered everything from useful contacts to local shopping/ restaurants etc.
The bedrooms were all good size, everything inside was very modern and a good layout to holiday as a group but equally have corners where you can relax on your own.
We will be staying here again next year.
The location was great, it took 15 mins to the car park in Monaco, 25 mins to Nice and 1hr 15 to Cannes. There is a car park in Monaco, next to the marina, I’d recommend that parking as it’s the easiest to get in/out of and Indigo parking in Nice. Some of the car parks are extremely tight to navigate around vs UK multi-stories.
🙁 The drive to La Turbie and the villa is on very steep hills. I was scared of heights, so I would recommend anyone that’s the same to stick to the A8 vs the La Turbie road from the edge of Monaco. You do get use to it after a day or so. Taxis are hard to get from La Turbie, so car hire is needed. We had a BMW X3 and that would be the biggest car I’d recommend, anything else would struggle with the width of the roads. The BMW also fit 4 suitcases in, so it was perfect for a family. Smaller cars and/or motorbikes are best for the area and ideally with auto-hold for the hills.
